Yes. To be a BalletBeFit instructor, all we ask is that you have a dance or fitness background, and a knowledge of ballet to elementary/intermediate level. The training course will give you everything else. By the time you’ve finished, you’ll be more than confident to teach.
Yes. BalletBeFit is unique in that you can fully tailor the exercises to suit your ability, and also for those in your class. There’s a way to adapt each exercise and still get huge benefits for the body. Our classes are choreographed by Rachel Withers – a former dancer who trained with the Royal Ballet, who knows exactly how to tailor ballet moves to make them accessible for everyone.
Weekdays are actually the best time to run your classes, as our research shows that people who attend daytime classes are more likely to make it part of their regular routine. That means they’ll stay committed, and that means more money in your pocket.
Our classes are popular and demand for instructors is high. So many people are interested in ballet-based fitness that there’s space for more than one instructor in each area, especially if you’re teaching a different type of class.
We keep costs very low, because we want to support you in making your business a success. That’s why the monthly fee is just £7 a month for each type of class you teach, and the annual refresher is just £47. There’s no VAT on top, and we don’t take commission. You can charge a minimum of £6 per adult per class, so you can see how easy it is to make your money back.
We won’t increase the recurring costs.
When you apply online, you’ll be asked to confirm you’ve reached elementary/intermediate level ballet before you pay for the course. We don’t vet you in person when you apply, but we’ll screen you via the video you send us at the end of your course.
Don’t worry, we’ll give you everything you need. As well as your training, we’ll give you template materials to get your business up and running, including all the marketing materials to promote your classes.
We keep costs very low because we want you to be able to build a stable and profitable business. Your training course would usually cost £297, but for a limited time we’re offering £100 off, taking it down to £197.
