For years we’ve known the benefits of practicing ballet techniques, from improved posture, balance and flexibility to an overall sense of poise and grace while performing each move. BalletBeFit is a group based exercise class based on Ballet technique working the whole body, lifting bottoms, trimming thighs and defining arms. With our ballet inspired workouts the results are consistent.
All our instructors come from a dance or fitness based background and once accredited continue their learning with our BalletBeFit Academy thus ensuring the class is not only kept fresh but our high standards are maintained and delivered. With BalletBeFit you can be assured of quality.
At BalletBeFit we love working with passionate individuals who are committed to fulfilling their dreams. We are serious about working with people who want to deliver amazing value and build incredible, long-term relationships with their clients which is based on trust and respect.
At BalletBeFit it is important that we deliver a class which offers the benefits of a ballet based class, which is accessible and is for all abilities and ages.

Nicola Proctor is one of our most successful instructors. She’s built her business around her work and family commitments, and now teaches 200 women a month. Here’s what she has to say about being part of the BalletBeFit Academy.
“I could not recommend BalletBeFit highly enough. Everything is easy to follow and you get all the tools you need to make your business a success.”
“I am a 53 year old wannabe dancer and thought I would never have the opportunity to experience the feeling of being a ballet dancer!!! I have started a Ballet Be Fit class in Lancaster, taught by Laura Sandham-Smith and my long held dream has become true. I love the workout and couldn’t wait to buy my first pair of ballet shoes. Laura is a fantastic teacher and gets us all smiling through the class, even though our muscles are aching. Thank you Laura, and thank you Ballet Be Fit.”
